National Day of Prayer in Tomahawk—Thursday, May 4, 2017

This event is big in Tomahawk! Most of the churches and pastors spend much of this day in prayer. This year we are topping this off with a concert finale. The “Associated Clergy of Tomahawk” invite you to join us in praying for God to lead, guide, and transform our nation and world. Please join in the following:

Opening – at City Hall:
10:00am    All pastors invite the public to gather with us in prayer at City Hall in Tomahawk

Prayer Walk- throughout Tomahawk:
11:00am     St. Mary’s Catholic Church will lead a prayer walk from City Hall
1st Congregational Church will lead the prayer walk from E. Washington to 4th Street
Noon   Northwood’s Vineyard will lead from their church to Harley Plant on Somo
1:00 pm       St. Barnabas Episcopal will lead from their church to French Town
2:00 pm             Prince of Peace will lead from their church to North 4th
3:00 pm        Grace Lutheran will lead from their church up North 4th to Mohawk

Community Prayer – at High School Cafeteria:
6:00pm      Pastors pray: Mannerings for government; Pastor Rauschert for military, Pastor Nelson for businesses, Pastor Maramreddy for families, Pastor Ziemer for churches, two more for school and community.

Concert Following Community Prayer–
at School Auditorium
Ali Paris, world renown Palestinian musician
as a benefit for Augusta Victoria Hospital
(free-will offering)
