Pink FlamingoOur youth are raising funds for the National Youth Gathering in New Orleans July 2012! Look for flamingo order forms on the youth board by the information station in the Gathering Space. Fill out a form for each address you’d like to “flock.” Or purchase Flocking Insurance to keep your yard and mailbox from getting flocked.

New Church Directory!

We are excited to announce that we are going to create a new pictorial directory of our church family.  The directory will help us connect names with faces.  It will be an ideal outreach tool and will capture the history of our church congregation.

Please participate!  All we ask is that you have your picture taken by the professional Photographer and meet with a Portrait Consultant at our church.  For the next several weeks, we will be making appointments before and after services and meetings at the church.  Or stop in at the church office or call Debbie at the church office – 715-453-4066.  Please sign up as soon as possible to get the best appointment to fit your schedule.

  • Every participating family/household that selects a pose for the directory will receive a free directory
  • and a complimentary 8×10 Custom Natural Portrait or $25 savings discount.
  • You will come to the church only once for photography and for portrait viewing.
  • The program is available at no cost to the church budget.

Grace Lutheran invites you to consider our new electronic giving program as a way to automate your regular weekly offering. Electronic giving offers convenience for individual congregation members and provides much-needed donation consistency for our congregation!

We anticipate that electronic giving will appeal to many church members—from longtime worshippers who will appreciate an alternative to frequent check writing to younger members and others who prefer to pay or donate by electronic means whenever possible.

  • Direct Debit Giving is used to automatically transfer funds from your checking or savings account to the church’s bank account. If you are already using direct debit to make mortgage and car payments or to pay utility bills, then you know how it works.
  • Credit & Debit Card Giving lets you make offerings automatically on a pre-determined schedule using a credit or debit card. Today, many families use debit cards as a convenient alternative to checks or use credit cards in a responsible manner to manage a wide range of obligations.

Outdoor Worship Begins May 27, 2012

Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend we meet for a 10:00am Sunday Service at Schaefer’s Wharf on County L. Come by boat, bike, foot or car.  Sit on the grass or bring your lawn chair.  Handicap accessible.

If it rains church service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church.  Cancellations will be announced on WJJQ.

Come celebrate our faith together surrounded by the beauty of God’s creation!
